Pinduoduo exceeds on market cap, lagging behind Alibaba, Tencent and Meituan

China’s social e-commerce company Pinduoduo closed at USD 39.96 on Thursday, up 12.56%, bringing its market capitalization to USD 46.4 billion, a new high since it went public last year.

In comparison, reported RMB 18.8 million (USD 90.1 million) in net income in the second quarter of 2019, compared to a net loss of RMB 2.2 billion in the same quarter of 2018.
